Wheat for sprouting
Soft and sweet flavour.
To be eaten at approx 0.5 cm in size or as grass for juicing (about 15 cm).
Easiness: easy in sprouts and fresh shoots. Growing wheatgrass is considerably more technical.
Soaking time : 12 hours.
Sprouting time : 2 to 3 days.
Ingredients: 100% wheat (Triticum aestivum) seeds for sprouting, proceeding from organic farming. Origin: France.
Delicious plain at breakfast, to go with winter dishes and soups, or to add to your desserts. You can also use it to make thin burgers or Essenian bread.
Type of sprouter recommended: Germline multi-level sprouter. Follow instructions provided with the sprouter, or view instructions on our website.
Keep your sproutable seeds in their sachets at room temperature in a dry place.
The fresher they are, the better your sproutable seeds. If you do not use them immediately, keep them for a few days in the fridge, preferably in a closed recipient, and covered with Clingfilm.
Between the time humans grew their first batch of wheat and the time they were able to make leavened bread and pasta, 15,000 to 20,000 years went by. Wheat has always been considered the cereal with the broadest nutritional value.
