Sprouted leek
The mild onion-like taste and the bright yellow glow of leek sprouts actively spice up your dishes.
Ingredients: 100% sprouted leek (Allium porrum), proceeding from organic farming.
Cultivated in France. Origin of the seeds: Italy.
Ideal in starter salads, beetroot in vinaigrette, omelets, pasta or traditional soups. Leave the leek sprouts to macerate in a vinaigrette for a more intense flavour. Sprouted leeks are also original with cheesy puff pastry tarts, or to set off a vegetable stock.
To use preferibly in small quantities because of the strong taste of leek sprouts.
Must be kept in the refrigerator (1 to 4°C), preferably in their original packaging, in an airtight container or under food-quality cling film. To be eaten before the date stated on the product packaging.
Like onion and garlic, leeks come from the Middle East and South-West Asia. They were domesticated several thousand years before our era. Leeks were adopted by the Greeks and Romans who spread them across Europe.
Packaged in 40g tray, 100% recyclable.
Germination increases the seeds’ natural vitamin content and promotes the body’s assimilation of minerals.
